Watching music videos is the most popular activity on YouTube according to research company Sysomos accounting for 30.7% of all views. The study was based on measuring the tags on uploaded videos.
The study also shows that 20-35 year olds are the primary drivers of YouTube traffic. Embedding and linking to videos on social network and blogs by fans 20-35 accounted for 57.3% of all YouTube links.
